Birth Control
- As late at 1968 the Roman Catholic Church was still denied to its female followers
- By the late 1960s almost all women had access to birth control
It was seen as a major progression as:
- Gave women control over their reproductive role
- Choice if and when they wanted to be mothers
- Control over their careers
Summary
In the 1960s almost all women had access to birth control. This changed a lot for the role of women. It gave them control over their reproductive role which meant that they could have a career before having kids and had control over their lives rather than back in the day when women got married super young just to settle down and have kids for their husbands.
